Miss Clarke: Week 21

How I feel physically: I have had a pretty dang good week! I have gotten good workouts in and feel proud about being active during the day. I am usually pretty tired around lunch, but I have also not been sleeping well. I wear a fitbit at night and my sleep has been horrible. It has been taking me longer to fall asleep, and I am restless all night. All part of it, I guess...I usually just end up reading random pregnancy articles.

How I feel mentally: I have felt like a Magical Unicorn Lady Boss ALL week! It has been awesome! I have been so busy and clear minded. Also: shameless plug, in case you didn't know, I co-host a podcast with my Biz Bestie Kiley! Recording every week really keeps me motivated in my business and my thought process! We also just feed off of each other and it is a fantastic feeling! I have also decided to cut most sugar out of my diet...but more about that in a separate blog post!

Happy of the week: I had so many happy things go on this week! Other than the fact that I had a great work week and got so much done every day, I also got to go home and see all of my favorite people! I had my first baby shower (even though it's super early) because my sister, Keller and my best friend, Sydney are both moving to Texas in a few weeks and I won't be able to see them until after Clarke is born. So we had an early shower so I could celebrate with them. It was so happy, and so so so many tears were shed when I left on Sunday night. I blame it on the pregnancy, but in reality I am just really going to miss them. I also hadn't seen Sydney since I found out I was pregnant, and I high key cried when I saw her at my shower because I just miss her so dang much.

At Reese's powerlifting meet with the whole gang! I love when we all get to be together in one room!

My other happy this week is that I got to watch my little brother in his Power lifting meet on Saturday, which was so fun to watch. I get so nervous when he lifts because I want him to get hit his goals so bad. I just know how hard he works for everything and his happiness gives me so so much happiness.

CRAVINGS: Funny that this week, I haven't really had many cravings, other than the fact that I am just starving all the time. I am getting to the point where I just need more food and I'm just having to figure out ways satisfy my hunger in a healthy way.

Things for Clarke: Well since I had a shower I got all kinds of precious things! So many cute little clothes, I got an AMAZING glider for her nursery. Which was the theme of the shower, I wanted stuff to make her nursery cute. So, I got all kinds of cute stuff for that. My Grams made her a quilt that matches the nursery inspiration that I have. One of my precious girls in my old youth group gave Clarke a book with the sweetest note in it, and it made me cry. SO...you could say it was a really good day.

Favorite Dinner: I made a great whole 30 approved beef and broccoli recipe with some quinoa! It was good and didn't have any added sugar, which is what I am trying to stay away from.

Workouts: my workouts have been going pretty dang good this week! They haven't been perfect, but I feel am mentally excited about all of them and I have been consistently moving and being active multiple times a day!

Monday: Took the dogs for a 40 min walk, but didn't do any other type of workout...

Puppy walkin' with my girls!

Tuesday: Took the dogs on a 45 minutes walk and did 35 minutes of Yoga! I am incorporating more yoga into my daily workouts to work on opening up my hips and being more in tune with my body for labor.

Wednesday: Didn't get a chance to take the dogs for a walk...but did 35 minutes of Yoga. I do Yoga by Adrian on youtube and I love it! I am currently doing the 31 day Yoga Revolution series! You can find it HERE!

Thursday: I took the dogs for a 40 minute walk around town. Then I did a circuit I found on Pinterest! It was a Dumbbell Combo Circuit: 3 rounds of 12 reps for each move. Romanian Deadlifts + Upright Row, Forward Lunge + Overhead Press, Hip Bridge +Chest Press, Sumo Squats + Bicep Curls, Reverse Plank + Tricep Dip.

Friday: I did 3 sets X 10 reps of each exercise. I went through each exercise doing one set and then started the sequence over again. Bicep Curls, Shoulder Press, Calf Raises (all three foot positions), Squats, Tricep Extensions, Cat Cow Ab move, Spinal Balance. Repeat all exercises 3X through. I used 10lb dumbbells for all of the moves (except the ab exercises at the end).

Saturday: I went to my little brothers powerlifting meet all day and didn't have time to workout. Just enjoyed the family and enjoyed watching my little brother kick butt!

Sunday: I didn't workout on Sunday either. I got up and went to an awesome church service about how comparison robs you of joy and I just thought it was wonderful. Got adjusted by the best Chiropractor EVA! Then I made Strawberry jam filled cupcakes for my baby shower then I went to the baby shower and celebrated Clarke Delane and then went home and hung out way too late because I didn't want to leave the family this weekend.

It's really happy when you get to see two of your favorite people when you all three live in different parts of the country.

"Blaine and Taylor" since 4th grade, now we get to raise our daughters together. Let;s hope they have less drama than we did! haha

Thoughts on the week: Health wise, I was pretty happy with my workouts, I wish I would have gotten one more strength workout in, but the weekend was so busy and so happy, so I will just make sure to get more in next week!

Weight Gain: I have gained 11-12lbs so far! I seem to be gaining about a pound a week, which is healthy from what I have read. So...I am not worrying about it. I feel healthy and have good energy, especially in the beginning of the day. I have noticed that by night time I am exhausted, but I guess that's normal. I'm just over here tryin' to do the best I can.

LOLOLOL I took this pic and just laughed, I wonder how much longer it will be before I can't see my toes?
